Ahhh... so the Random Room only goes to rooms called "Room_#" and not just any room. I figured it would go to any random room that had a person in it. Great - nice implementation :)

Still thinking about embedding it on my private members-only (read: family) site. Would not do so if strangers would randomly wander in."

I've had a private room coded to automatically sign into the same room name on my personal site for months and no one has ever shown up that I didn't expect.

Can you believe this ?

Real-banning controls are just about done -

Unless the user is on a proxy ( which im thinking

about a way to get around), it will be impossible

for him to sneam back in a room that he is banned

from.

Also the process will be automatic, i.e will update

the servers, without having to collect a list of

IP's and give them to me.

Expecting to have this operation in the next couple

of hours -

get passed the ban. Although, Im looking
at ways around this atm,

Hi I would love to have your admin controls.  I would also like to talk to someone about what I can and Can

not do with the product commercially.  I have developed a fantastic distance learning solution backend and

I have been looking for a good front end other than skype.  I think I found it with your product.  I would

like to talk with you about it.  Can you please let me know what your skype name is or send me an email

my skypename is TexasRugbyMan73.  Probably better start off  with that.  Then I will be happy to share my

email address with you.

There are a.t.m. no useful and working admin commands.
Mebeam is however beta and in full development, so things can change.

More information you can find at http://www.globalipvideo.com
There is also info to get in contact with the programmer.

The Original Style Mebeam will now be phased out soon...

Due to changes of code to room selection of current Mebeam,
the room invitation of the Original Style Mebeam is messed up.

However, you can still use the original Style Mebeam, but you
have to goto the correct page first, exit the wrongly entered room
and enter the room you want to use,  or use an alternative
Original Style Mebeam page, e.g. like my homepage.
After that you can invite your friends by giving them the correct
Mebeam URL by copying it with the roomname separately and
paste these through an Instant Messenger (IM) to your friends.

I have editted the Mebeam help for this issue already.

To invite your friends with the current (new) Mebeam, goto
http://www.mebeam.com and enter a room you want, then
copy the URL and send it to your friends by using an IM.

I understand the rules for being kicked for porn, but what are the rules for apparantly immobile pictures? some of the ones I use have a little motion but not an over abundance of motion, but i am told to "hey-buy a camera".
would anyone please explain the procedure.
thank you

It seems to me that you could better have started a new topic
instead of using one which has a complete different topic content.

I have not seen or heard of any other restrictions than the obvious
ones like porn and thelike, but for movies the rules are the same
as for pictures and live (cam-) video. However for movies or tv
there are restrictions depending of the country you live in.

For the showing of video / pictures without being moved out of the
room: There must be sufficient movement detected within a certain
amount of time. Try to make a slideshow which does change a slide
every 2 seconds.

Note:
As Mebeam mods cannot act or being responsible as policemen
nor as lawyers and for them it is also impossible to know each
countries law. It's also impossible to monitor every public room
and Mebeam mods are not hired in any way. They do it for free
in their spare time...
