Hi guys, long time no wigi.
The download works fine though it was pretty slow - not really a problem since the file size is so small
I can't seem to find my pic to use for my avatar so I'll take a new one when I get the chance.

WOW - what an image! I have downloaded the attachment. What happens next? Can I get a friend to download wigi and then call him on skype, and will the picture just come up?

Did you download wigi41?
You need to both be running the program simultaneously and then one of you needs to type in the ip address of the other to establish a connection

Hi Switcher,
Read the OLD INSTRUCTIONS topic to be able to use Wigi41 etc.
http://wigiwigi.mebeam.com/view_topic.php?id=5&forum_id=3
If you go to the Startmenu and RUN, type CMD <enter>
Type in the (dos-) window: IPCONFIG <Enter>
Then you will see your local IP-address.

I have forwarded the receiver ports as stated in the instructions.
(And both clients can do loopback)
But when I enter the ip address in the caller it just sits there...
Hitting F4 on the caller shows that it is transmitting about 10pps, but its not connecting.
Calling side is on a dlink router.
Rx side is on a linksys router.
Any other ports that I need to forward?

Hi kickboy,
Only the one who get the call needs a forwarded port.
For Wigi41.exe it should be UDP port 43707.
If you are behind a router, be sure that the forwarded
UDP port is enabled and assigned to your systems
local IP-address and NOT the WAN-IP address.
If you are using a firewall, be sure to accept Wigi41
once and QUIT Wigi (ESC key) and restart it again.
Please, take also a look at the aa_trace_file.txt file
which you can find in the system Windows map.
It contains the diagnostic information. See attached
example of the Linksys portforwarding.

Its odd, I have it working inside my lan, but external is giving me issues.
Scenario 1:
I forward UDP port 43960 to my local machine.
The remote call just sits in calling xx.xx.xx.xx until I hit escape a few times.
Scenario 2: I remove the forwarded port on my local router and forward the port on the other router.
I start the call and after about 5 seconds it pops a window with "xx.xx.xx.xx not found, please reopen with the correct address".
I can ping either public ip from either end. So I would expect them to fail in the same manner.

Hi kickboy,
I have runned Wigi41 and it seems to use the
UDP port 43707. (Look at the aa_trace_file.txt)
Add me to Skype and we talk about it or test.
